Isn't it fantastic?
After what feels like an eternity we all seem to be starting to go back to the life we once knew.
For us at On your marks Tuition it has been a difficult time as, it has been for everyone, but now, we are very excited to be able to announce a return to teaching from 24thMay2021 and assessments from 27th May 2021,
There have been many changes to the specifications for GCSE and Transfer tests including topics thathave been excluded from the exams and wil not be tested.
We will be able to provide details of these changes to our students.
So let's get started on catching up.
We can do it together.
In these strange times we are very aware of the stresses and strains that parents have been under and the worry about the effect on their children’s future life chances as a result of the turmoil that is being experienced in their school based education.
We want to help now, but like everyone else, we have been forced to suspend our teaching until we are allowed to open again and it is safe to resume providing the support that every child and parent needs.
We know that many parents have been working hard to try and help their children at home. We also know how difficult this can be. Demands on time, access to appropriate resources, concern about teaching effectiveness and being unsure of the content of the syllabus all hinder the immense amount of catching up that is now required.
We do not know what the schools and universities will do. We do not know what the examination bodies will do. We do not know what the government nor the executive will do. We do not know what the education authorities will do.
We do know that despite the many uncertainties it is imperative that children and young people somehow acquire the skills and knowledge that they will need to succeed in their future lives.
Although we can’t say for certain when we will be open again, we think that now is the time to start planning for opening.
Should you wish to reserve a place with us please text, email or phone with your name, the name and year group of your child and your contact details. We will acknowledge your request.
